Cambodia’s busy capital Phnom Penh is located at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. Spend the whole day discovering Phnom Penh's past and present. Take a look at some of the Khmer Rouge’s infamous sombre locations and learn about the region's dark history as well as its current politics. Then get out of the capital, pay a visit to an island on the Mekong, where you'll experience the local residents’ life along the river.

Best known as the gateway to the ruins of Angkor – a symbol of Cambodia’s tourism, the resort town of Siem Reap lies in northwestern Cambodia. Angkor Wat (or Capital Temple) is the world’s largest religious monument originally constructed as a Hindu temple for the Khmer Empire, which was then gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century.

This 3-day Siem Reap adventure offers you a chance to witness the Khmer Kingdom’s symbol including the Bayon, Ta Prohm and Pre Rup. Another worthy place to visit in Siem Reap is the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Tonlé Sap (by boat), after enjoying a jungle hike to the River of a Thousand Lingas.

See the remarkable Phare, a circus arts troupe that performs a variety of shows throughout the year, perform a lively show blending circus arts with riveting theatre, dance and music to tell Cambodian historical, folk and modern stories. Most of these young circus artists, who will astonish you on stage with their energy, emotion and talent, are with challenging social and economic backgrounds. You’ll also learn how Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS), a non-profit association, works with vulnerable children and young adults, helping Cambodian youth transform their lives through art.
