Angkor Wat (or Capital Temple) is the world’s largest religious monument originally constructed as a Hindu temple for the Khmer Empire, which was then gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century.

Our chauffeur will pick you up in the morning at the door of your hotel with a private air-conditioned vehicle. You’ll see the sunrise at Sra Srang Baray before transferred to Wat Svaylamiet for a picnic breakfast. Then start your full-day private tour of the Angkor complex at Angkor Thom City’s South Gate, where you’ll learn about the 54 demons that line the road.
Next, view the centerpiece of this walled citadel, the mysterious Bayon Temple, of which 54 towers are decorated with more than 200 smiling stone faces. You’ll have approximately 2 hours discovering the Angkor Thom’s temple; however, the itinerary is flexible up to your interest. Contemplate the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King as well as the stunning Ta Prohm Temple. Return to your hotel for lunch after an hour and take short break getting ready for your helicopter ride.
Later in the afternoon, it’s time to experience a 20-minute helicopter ride over the splendid Angkor temple complex and Tonle Sap Lake. This rare aerial experience offers a fresh, bird’s-eye view with brand new feeling after visiting Angkor on the ground. 
Upon departing, your pilot will provide you with onboard commentary. Don’t forget your camera so you can capture a thumbnail of the majestic UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will also get to visit Angkor Wat, the capital best-preserved temples of Angkor, on foot. You’ll have some time for a thorough exploration of this vast ceremonial structure including a glimpse of its reflection pools and giant moat, which are just part of what makes Angkor Wat unique. Spending the afternoon wandering the galleries where the story Ramayana was told by carvings to finish the foot tour.
