In the morning, the city's modern scenery is gradually replaced with rice paddies and rural villages on your drive to My Tho. Board a boat to Ben Tre where you will go through the impressive islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix the lush gardens and fruit orchards of a local family. Take a tuk tuk/Horse Cart along the country lanes with palm trees, paddy fields and orchards. Stop at a bee-keeping farm for sipping the honey with tea and Kamquat and enjoy the folk songs in the Southern. Continue on a smaller rowing boat for a more adventurous cruise on the canal which is set amongst a forest of palm trees... In the afternoon return to Ben Tre/My Tho for lunch and a visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City where you will arrive in the late afternoon.
