Another choice is wet market in case you wake up early. The seafood here is so much fresh because the fisherman usually brings their products to sell after coming back to their boat.
Day 1: Explore Phu Quoc’s stunning beaches
Phu Quoc (A.K.A the Pearl island) is the biggest one among 22 small islets and islands.
It owns over 10 beautiful beaches with conditions that offer some of the best resorts. The beaches have soft fine wine, warm and calm water, whilst others have soft waves.
They are perfect spot to relax, go sunbathing and sip a fresh coconut from a tree.

Day 2: Go hiking to natural beauty spots:
Get close to nature and spend some times in one of the island’s eco-lodges: forests, mountains, lakes, streams, and waterfalls. Early morning trips let you experience natural first-hand with the sound of running water, leaves rustling in the wind, and birds chirping. After that, you could swim to expose yourself immersively in the nature.
In the north of island mostly endless green space is where the national park is located. It is well-known as a lung of Mekong Delta. You could find a peaceful place to take a deep breath and do yoga or meditation.
Are you keen on go camping? Go on and make a stop to meet cute little monkey or try some hiking in Ham Ninh Mountain and explore the wild life.
On your 3-day hiking trip, it is plenty of adventurous features, so you can explore. However, you should make sure to keep all safety precautions first and be well-prepared your belongings.
Day 3: Historical sites – Ho Quoc pagoda
Built in 1949 by French colonist, it is believed to have detained over 40,000 Vietnamese soldiers and political figures who have opposed both French and American forces.
In 1955, Ngo Dinh Diem, the president of Vietnam Public extended the prison land to capture Vietnamese revolutionaries with several racks.
Nowaday, it is one of the most iconic landmarks in Phu Quoc, attracting mostly former prisoners and foreign visitors to learn more about Vietnam’s history.

One of the most popular destinations on Phu Quoc island is Ho Quoc pagoda. Visitors will inspire Mahayana architecture, a part of Buddhist temple, a part of eco-tourism site. This temple is a holy temple for every religious local and tourists to pray for the best things.
It look like the best way to go to Phu Quoc island from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, or Can Tho. You can pick up your flight with Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, or Jetstar Pacific. The price depends on low season or high season.
Sleeping bus – The cheapest way:
Depart for Ho Chi Minh city, it takes you 8-9 hours to get to a sleeping bus to Ha Tien or Rach Gia. The price is around 150,000 VND (6.8 USD) for a one-way ticket to Rach Gia and 180,000 VND (8.2 USD) for a ticket to Ha Tien.
Superdong and Phu Quoc express are two companies to offer ferry service to Phu Quoc from Ha Tien and Rach Gia. The ticket will cost you 10-18$.
