The car will leave Ho Chi Minh City centre at around 08:00 AM. An early start will ensure you’re not gonna miss the typical southern Vietnamese scenery en route to Tay Ninh.
Enjoy the panoramic view of rice paddies and the local’s traditional village life as the car escapes the busy city, heading to the tranquil countryside. Approximately 95 km northwest is the Temple of Cao Dai, home to the eclectic Caodaism, exquisitely reflected in its unique blended architectural style symbolising the major faiths of the world. After lunch, get to know more about the guerrilla warfare with a visit to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels.
During the 1960s war, the Cu Chi Tunnels provided essential shelter as well as supply lines and were vital to the victory of the Vietnam troops. In this tour, you’ll explore the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc section of the tunnels. To learn about the Cu Chi tunnels history and to get a feel of what life was like for Viet Cong soldiers underneath the ground. At the end of the tour, adventurers also have the opportunity to fire an AK47 or M16 at the nearby Cu Chi tunnels shooting range.
